A New School Year

by Intern

Well, a new school year is upon us. All 4 One Tutoring is prepping for another awesome and meaningful school for our clients and potential clients. We are so excited!

We began to test our iPads, tablets, and headphones. They get the most usage in our after-school program. We do so many engaging and enriching activities with them!

Testing, testing

Pairing activities not only engages students, but they also show how students can support on another to complete a task or assignment.

School Supplies

For those school-aged clients who participated in our summer learning tutoring, we supplied them with a back-to-school package. We want to send them starting the new school year on the right foot.

All 4 One Tutoring LLC 's mission is to educate and empower those who want to have a positive social change and succeed to the best of his or her ability.

2015 Year in Review

by Charice Wofford, CEO

It’s been another fabulous year for All 4 One Tutoring.  This past year, we’ve diversified and expanded our company and programming. Within the first few months of 2015, we established an office in the Pikesville, Maryland area.  At our office location, we provide tutoring and training.

In the summer of 2015, we were able to run a summer tutoring program. We also added new tutors to our family this past summer. The summer of 2015 was spectacular.

During the last quarter of 2015, All 4 One Tutoring formed a partnership with another educational company in India. We’re looking forward to great things in 2016 with this partnership.

Our after-school program continues to get praise by administrators, community leaders, and parents. This school year, we initiated more project-driven instruction and projects. We are looking forward to finishing the school year with a field trip to a STEM center. How exciting!!!!

Last but not least, for a second year in a row, we’ve been recognized as the best in Baltimore for “educational services.” We would like to thank the Baltimore Recognition Program for such a prestigious honor. Being the owner of such a blossoming and empowering organization is such an honor. We are proof that when we work together to achieve a shared goal, we can expand quality education and learning so that everyone can strive for positive social change. We have more plans underway for 2016!!!!

Here’s a look at what’s coming in 2016:

-more partnerships (international and nationwide)

-becoming an approved testing site for CASAS testing (for adult education)

-offering more training and workshops

I’d like to thank everyone who has had a positive impact and who has supported All 4 One Tutoring. Together we can reach the goal of educational EMPOWERMENT.

After School Engagement

by Intern

All 4 One Tutoring operates an after-school program at The Empowerment Academy in Baltimore City. All 4 One Tutoring provides an engaging, fun, and learning experience in its after-school program.
Students use iPads and tablets in the after-school program. They use grade level math and reading applications to help complement instruction and homework provided through the regular classroom teacher.

Students engaged in project driven instruction learning about the human senses such as taste, smelling, feeling etc.

In the after-school program, All 4 One Tutoring focuses on 3 E’s: Engagement, Enrichment, Empowerment.

Happy Friday

June 6, 2014

We trust that everyone is enjoying their Friday. We have been very busy with preparing to expand our services to offer a STEM after school program. We have partnered with a local charter school to provide an after school STEM education program. Our STEM after school program will begin this fall and we have several sign-ups already.

STEM education is an approach to teaching and learning that integrates the content and skills of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM Standards of Practice guide STEM instruction by defining the combination of behaviors, integrated with STEM content, which is expected of a proficient STEM student.

If you are a school leader/principal in the Baltimore City or County area and would like to partner with us to implement an after school STEM program, contact us at info@all4onetutoring.com.

Put Commas After Your Periods

We were honored to listen to United States Congressman Elijah Cummings, who was a keynote speaker, at a graduation ceremony last night. Congressman Cummings geared his speech towards education and succeeding. A profound statement that resonated in his speech about education, determination, and success was:

Put a comma (,) after your periods (.).

Baltimore’s Afterschool Program for Next Generation Learners

BCPSS’s Empowerment Academy and Learn It Systems have partnered to launch a successful STEM-focused afterschool program in West Baltimore. Over 60 Empowerment Academy students in pre-K to 8th grades are engaged daily in Learn It’s afterschool school program featuring lessons in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Science Technology Engineering Arts Math Empowerment Academy’s afterschool program re-engages student minds with a unique blend of hands-on learning and state of the art technology. The program kicks off each day with a healthy snack and mandatory student homework sessions and then the real fun begins. Afterschool instructors encourage critical thinking sessions through Learn It’s structured Young Scientist and World Explorer curricula and grade-level iPad learning games.

During the past several years, the Empowerment Academy students have placed tops on the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) and achieved many state and local regonitions. Learn It’s STEM-focused afterschool program was a natural fit for the engaged Empowerment Academy’s student population.

Learn It Systems is an approved BCPSS Extended Learning provider, and has provided academic enrichment programs to over 100,000 students since 2007. During the 2012-2013 school year, Learn It implemented school transition programs for the BCPS Office of Federal Programs – Title I. Empowerment Academy’s Site Director, Christine Jackson, was formally the principal at the Baltimore City’s Alexander Hamilton Elementary School.

Empowerment’s young scientists work together on an enrichment activity!
Students use iPad learning games as they explore world cultures.
